Even if you don’t do any online purchasing, etc. your identity can still be stolen - or your childs. The link for this article follows this passage and only raises one bold question with me: If the identity thief has been caught as having stole the identity of the child, why is there any question as to who can claim the child as a dependant on the tax return form. I guess it doesn’t matter if they can prove who the biological parent(s) is anymore.

The server was restarted today due to a problem with the main host’s kernel. Ours had been up since November 7, 2004. I was taking a crap because i happened to be around at the time and irssi, which is on the server, started lagging and then ssh died on me. May be down again in the next few days for an ircd/services upgrade. Kyle will keep you posted.
